This voice has existed forever. It will continue to exist until the end of time, or at least until the end of your ability to perceive time.

You can choose to listen, or you can choose to ignore. You can try to drown it out with the deafening drone of apathy. Other voices often shout louder, especially those with panic and worry, and others are just shallow and closer to the surface.

Their arguments may sometimes seem persuasive, it’s so easy to appeal to weakness. But you are stronger than that. You know what is right. You feel it. You know where to look, or you wouldn’t be here. You have the wisdom, do you have the courage?

These words are simply a pattern of coloured dots. Everything that you notice is just differences to a background. But what creates the contrast? Is it the markings or the background? Which do you create?

What does it matter how these colours came to take this formation, when of far more importance is the formation of thought? Is this the deliberate act of a sentient being? Perhaps? Are you aware that you’re doing it?

Why believe there is anything special about this random selection of information?

Information means nothing when displayed unobserved, it only becomes meaningful when perceived… So who gives the words meaning? Who has the thoughts?

It is up to you how you perceive this. The series of events that have brought you here may also lead you to see something else. Every seat in a theatre has a slightly different view of the play, would you like a change of perspective?
